Hard Rock Mining Equipment Mining Process

Jaw crusher: mainly used for medium-grained crushing of a variety of ores and bulk materials, whose compression strength not more than 320 Mpa, and it can be divided into coarse broken and fine broken.

Super thin grinding mill: High efficiency. Under the same condition of finished particle size and power of motor, the output of thin grinding mill is 40% higher than airflow grinding mill and whisk grinding mill. As a high standard grinding mill, it can fully meet the requirement of clients in the high production of powder.

What is hard rock mining

Hard rock mining refers to various mining techniques used to excavate hard minerals, mainly those containing metals such as ore containing gold, silver, iron, copper, zinc, nickel, tin and lead, but also involves using the same techniques for excavating ores of gems such as diamonds. In contrast soft rock mining refers to excavation of softer minerals such as salt, coal, or tar sands.

Hard rock mining equipment

In hard rock mining process, the most commonly used hard rock mining equipment are jaw crusher, cone crusher, hammer crusher and ball mill, ultrafine grinding mill, etc. when equipping with auxiliary equipment such as vibrating feeder, vibrating screen, it is usually a complete production line for hard rock mining.

Hard rock mining process

Bulk hard rock are fed to the jaw crusher evenly and gradually by vibrating feeder through a hopper for primary crushing. Jaw crusher is used in primary crushing station. It can crush hard rock into smaller sizes. Thus, these small rocks can be fed into grinding mills such as ball mill for grinding.

After first crushing, the material will transferred to cone crusher or grinding mill by belt conveyor for secondary crushing; the crushed hard rock will then transferred to vibrating screen for separating. After separating, the particles that can meet requirements will be discharged as final products, while the particles under requirement will be returned to cone crusher, thus forming a closed circuit. Size of final products can be combined and graded according to your specific requirement.
